Meet Grant Barnum

how did you come to be a part of elevate?

I was a professional musician for ten years. I wrote/recorded/performed original music, played in several bands, and toured the country. I also managed a private lesson program with 30 teachers and 250 students! In 2018 I decided to go back to school full time and after a few years I earned a degree in International Studies in Spanish. My life shifted from playing music to teaching financial literacy and English as a second language. Now that I've settled in my career, I've come back to sharing music and creating exceptional experiences!

What are some of your favorite activities?

Chiefs Football, my dog, my garden, yoyos, guitars, Spanish, camping/backpacking, teaching, and my family.

Why do you like working at elevate?

I get to see people at their happiest, when they forget about what separates us and makes us different.
