How did you come to be a part of elevate?
My journey to Elevate began through a serendipitous connection with Broc during my 9-to-5 job. When our conversation turned to my involvement with Springfield Contemporary and Springfield Little Theatre, Broc recognized how my theatrical background could translate into creating amazing events. After going through the training process, I found my second stage behind the DJ booth.
Why do you love event hosting?
Event hosting combines everything I love about performance – engaging with an audience, creating an inclusive atmosphere, and ensuring everyone becomes part of the story we’re creating together. It’s about making every guest feel like they’re essential to the celebration.
What is a hobby you’re truly passionate about?
My greatest passion is the pursuit of excellence. I believe in constantly challenging myself to grow and improve. While some compete with others, I focus on becoming a better version of myself each day, whether it’s in my DJing, event hosting, or personal development.
What was one of the most inspiring moments for you?
Watching a fellow DJ masterfully create an environment where every guest felt comfortable enough to truly celebrate – that was eye-opening. It showed me that great DJing isn’t just about playing music; it’s about creating a space where people feel free to be themselves and fully embrace the moment. That’s the standard I strive for at every event.
What do you like most about working at elevate?
Being part of life’s magical moments is incredible, but what truly makes Elevate special is the continuous learning opportunity. Every event is a chance to connect with new people – from clients and guests to venue staff and vendors. Each interaction brings new perspectives and lessons that help me grow both professionally and personally.
