How did you come to be a part of elevate?
I had the privilege of joining Elevate through connections with several team members and Broc. Their commitment to creating meaningful celebrations aligned perfectly with my values as both an entertainer and a mother.
Why do you love event hosting?
As someone who’s experienced life’s big moments – from raising five children to becoming a grandmother – there’s nothing quite like witnessing joy unfold in real-time. Each event lets me help create the kind of memories I cherish with my own family.
What is a hobby you’re truly passionate about?
I served as a MSHSAA varsity football official for several years, which might surprise some people! It taught me invaluable skills I use in event hosting: quick decision-making, crowd management, and maintaining composure under pressure. Plus, my love for the game runs deep – it’s another way I connect with different generations, just like I do through music.
What was one of the most inspiring moments for you?
During my first solo event, I witnessed something magical – genuine joy crossing generational boundaries. From grandparents to young children, seeing authentic smiles and connection reminded me why I chose this path. As a grandmother myself, these multi-generational moments of happiness are what inspire me to keep creating unforgettable celebrations.
What do you like most about working at elevate?
Working at Elevate isn’t just about the events – it’s about being part of a team that reflects the diversity we see in our clients. From our varied musical backgrounds to our different life experiences, each team member brings something unique. As someone who’s lived on both coasts and calls the Midwest home, I value how our different perspectives help us create better celebrations for every client we serve.
